Why PS3 and XBOX 360 are still of worth!

They might be relatively old, they might be not top hardware pieces any more, but who cares?!

Actually, the variety of game titles that someone can find available and actually in very keen prices is huge!

I was watching the other day a clip in gamesradar about “The 7 Best Average Games” and triggered me to write down these thoughts; I actually ordered also one of the games (Azura’s Wrath) to which the reviewers referred to on the clip. I realized that I keep finding out about titles that I might had just heard of them back then or discover for the first time, in case they were not massively marketed. There are really many games out there with top gameplay and scenario, graphics are probably outdated, but who really cares or why should someone desperately seek only for last generation games and snob everything else?

The consoles themselves are reasonably priced, with XBOX360 bit more tempting. Game prices, as well, are really keen for what someone gets in return in terms of game experience, which is plenty of hours traveling in fantasy worlds with really brilliant art of gameplay. Moreover, there are pretty often cool sales in both PSN and XBOX Live; actually, someone can get for less than 10€ games that used to cost in their launch 50€ or more, and still are great games.

This approach, of course, fits probably more to someone who tends to love video games for what they are, in terms of complete pieces of a combination among mechanics-dynamics-aesthetics, rather than for how they are placed in terms of marketing! It is a fact — just check further vgchartz.com — that for the first time consoles of a single generation tend to be for ten years in the market, and, moreover, still be live supported by their online platforms.
